About these Resources

Coalition Publica is pleased to showcase materials that help build capacity for diamond open access publishing in Canada. These are developed and maintained by Coalition Publica, PKP, Érudit, the CARL Library Publishing Community Engagement Team and other community partners to support journals to adhere to best practices in digital scholarly publishing. We also highlight research that supports the development and understanding of scholarly publishing in Canada. Resources include articles, guides, tutorials, webinar recordings, reports, and templates, and are tagged according to the target audience.

Documenting the Canadian Scholarly Journal Landscape

Coalition Publica has developed and published a detailed, open inventory of the historic and active journals that make up the national research dissemination landscape. In this webinar, we present the methodology behind its creation, provide some insights offered by its analysis, and demonstrate how it is already being put to use by different actors in the field.

This webinar was offered by CARL on March 12, 2020. It consists of an update and dialogue with Coalition Publica.
